Information Concerning Your Sunglasses
By frankdekelli
Everyone should protect their eyes from the harmful rays of the sun by wearing designer sunglasses. Wearing ones that block out the ultraviolet A and B rays plus HEV rays are the best ones that you can get for your eyes. You
will be protecting your eyes from possible cataracts, and the skin around your eyes from possible skin cancer.
Glasses that shade your eyes from the suns' rays are not only available so that you do not squint while driving or walking outside. They do not make them only for style or fashion. The main purpose of glasses that block out the light of the sun is for protection.
When you leave your eyes unprotected for even a brief amount of time you
risk getting them sunburned. This is often painful and gives you a feeling of having dirt in them. This will not cause permanent damage to your eyes. Not having any glasses that block out the suns' rays over a long time period can be permanently damaging. People must be made aware of the damage that can occur to their eyes when left unprotected.
Researchers have found that long term exposure to UVA rays can be the cause of damage to your retina or cataracts. Extended exposure to UVB rays can lead to skin cancer around the delicate eye area. Short term exposure to UVB can inflame the cornea of your eye which can cause temporary blindness that can last up to 48 hours.
There is proof that before the age of eighteen, children are exposed to eighty percent of the sun they will experience in a lifetime. This is because kids spend more of their time outdoors than they will when they are adults. It is extremely important to make sure your child has protection for their eyes. Try to find glasses that will give ninety nine percent protection from both UVB and UVA rays.
It does not matter if your lenses are plastic or glass. Both can be good
for shading you from harmful rays. Make sure whatever ones you do buy have a UV absorption of 400nm. This means they will block one hundred percent of damaging rays.
Reflected glare is light that comes back at you from water or a smooth surface. Polarized glasses will stop this glare from happening. They do not block UV rays. It is possible to get both polarized and UV blocking lenses together. This would be good for any outdoor fun and driving.
UV protection is not based on the color of the lens in your Hugo
Boss sunglasses. You can get a light amber lens and still have better protection than if you had a dark gray lens. The color of the lenses only matters for the protection from HEV rays. HEV stands for high-energy visible radiation. This will sometimes be called blue light.
High-energy visible light does have lower energy than ultraviolet light but the rays penetrate deeply into the eye and can cause retinal damage.
For glasses that protect against damage from HEV light, a bronze, copper or reddish brown color is best. These would be called blue blocking lenses. It is possible to get all of the protection you need in
one lens.
It is clear why the right designer
sunglasses are important to everyone. All people might not to have the entire combination of lenses but everyone needs at least the UV protection with Gucci
sunglasses.

This is a nice informative hub. Though I don't understand the sudden product placement at the end. Why does it matter if it is specifically Gucci sunglasses. Just sayin. You could suggest that brand as a good brand, but not that everyone needs that brand.
